National Park De Meinweg is the perfect place to get out and about by bicycle. The whole environment is accessible by bicycle with exception of a few paths in the living environment of the adder. The gentle slopes of the terraced landscape do not always make it easy. A cycling path from Roermond to the Melickerven or the Visitors Centre de Meinweg via Kloosterweg-Heidebaan by Roermond. Directions are marked with small signs. 

Bicycle-“knooppunten”(junctions) system 

The junctions system is a national network of cycling paths which connects the cycling paths, which makes it possible for you to set out your own route. The junctions system is very easy; you cycle a route by following the signs from one numbered junction to the next numbered junction. On each numbered junction there is an information panel with an overall map. 

The cycling routes in De Meinweg are included in this. The Dutch network connects to both the German and Belgium network, in this way it is easy to also take a peek on the other side of the borders. The bicycle junctions can be obtained at Visitors Centre de Meinweg/ Brasserie De Boshut 

Knooppunt (junction) 78 is situated at Visitors Centre de Meinweg/ Brasserie De Boshut 

Staatsbosbeheer has also marked a route through National Park de Meinweg and the Roerdal. This route gives a good impression of the diversity of the area. The route can be obtained at Visitors Centre de Meinweg/ Brasserie De Boshut

Of course you are also welcome at Brasserie de Boshut when you are in the area for any other cycling route mentioned below. Come visit us when you pass by junction 78!
